Inscription is carved & reads: In loving remembrance of Charles Andrew Baker Born at Stockton on Tees June 6th 1817 died at West Hartlepool June 30th 1886 “The lord was with him until the end” also of Joanna wife of the above born at Whitby December 26th 1810 died March 26th 1887 “Be ye also ready”
